70602 Installation Kit for New Steel Frame “Classic” Seats

This is the kit to install the Factory Five Steel Framed “classic” seats in your Roadster, Coupe, or ’33 Hot Rod. Includes steel base plates with 5/16″ studs and tapered steel platforms to recline the seats. Allows 4-positions within a 2-1/4″ adjustment range. (all the way back, then 3/4″, 1-1/2″ or 2-1/4″ forward) The seat’s width precludes the use of hand knobs, so 5/16” nuts secure the tapered platform to the base. 5/16″ button head cap screws are used to attach the seats to the tapered platform. Hardboard seat cushion supports bridge the FFR seat-base cross-bars for comfort and extend in past the front cross bar for more thigh support. Allows seat removal for adjustment or cleaning without getting under the car. Requires 3/16” hex key wrench to remove the seat from the tapered platform and 1/2″ socket wrench to remove or adjust the platform. This kit is for for two seats as shown in the photo.
