Description
This kit includes a continuous stainless steel hinge to reinforce the upper radiator channel and allow adjustment of the radiator angle. The design transfers the weight of the shroud and fan into the frame to reduce stress on the upper radiator channel. If your radiator has a cap, the hinge in this kit lowers the radiator to provide needed clearance between the cap and the frame. If your radiator does not have a cap (FFR supplied radiator) you remove the two short pieces of 3/4″ tube below the radiator upper crossbar and mount the hinge to the crossbar. Includes stainless hardware for mounting the fan to the shroud and the shroud to the radiator/hinge.

This just works and works well! Easy to install! radiator does not move and the mounting holds up extremely well! The original top radiator mounting was slowly coming apart – the top of the radiator was pulling loose on the radiator. Combine this with the lower radiator support kit and the radiator is in place, easy to work on and it not coming loose!
I even added the radiator fan shroud and I now have a complete cooling system redo! Just a note on the fan shroud – I’d suggest get some vacuum hose and split it open and slide it over the edges of the shroud where ever it touches the radiator.
