Hidden Trunk Hinge Kit

This kit is made by Extreme Fabrications for your Mk2 – 3.1 Roadster trunk. It is designed to reduce the interference problem between the top center of the trunk lid and the body when the trunk is just opening. (will require beveling the under side of the front and center edge of the trunk lid to clear – so this is not a bolt-in hinge replacement on a painted car) This kit allows for horizontal and vertical adjustment after installation. It is supplied in bare steel and bolts to the frame. Stud plates require bonding to the inside of the trunk lid below the liner. Includes all hardware and instructions. Made in USA.
